We’re Alie and Monica — lifelong book lovers, best friends, and the co-founders of Moonlit Hollow Books, a pop-up independent bookstore based in Red Lion, Pennsylvania.
We met more than a decade ago and bonded instantly over our shared love of reading — the kind of deep, late-night book conversations that turn into friendship and laughter. Like many lifelong readers, we both took breaks from reading when life got busy and motherhood became our focus. But a few years ago, we found our way back to the page — and fell in love with stories all over again.
That rediscovered spark inspired us to create Moonlit Hollow Books, a way to share our passion for reading with others and make buying books from a local bookseller simple, personal, and meaningful.
