Each month, we’ll have the current Sips + Stories book club pick available in the shop at 20% off the list price, making it easy to grab your copy and join us for our next discussion!

Our bookshop at Sips is completely self-serve! Browse the shelves and find the books you’d like to take home, then use our kiosk to select your titles and complete your purchase. It’s an easy way to shop for books while enjoying everything Sips Cafe has to offer.

When is Sips in Downtown York Open?

Sips Cafe in Downtown York is open the following hours:

Tuesday through Friday from 7am - 2:30pm

Saturday from 9am - 3pm

Are your books new or used?

All of our books are brand new!

What forms of payment does the self-serve kiosk accept?

Our self-serve kiosk is cashless and accepts all major credit and debit cards. We also support contactless payments, including tap-to-pay cards as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay, for a quick and secure checkout experience.

What types of books do you carry?

We offer a curated selection of adult and young adult fiction, including romance, dark romance, fantasy, and thriller titles—perfect for a wide range of readers.

Do you offer rewards or a loyalty program?

We do! Our popular “blind date with a book” selections are available in the machine, making them a fun and unique gift (or treat for yourself).

Can I return or exchange a Blind Date With A Book?

Because Blind Date With A Book packages are curated, hand wrapped, and meant to be a surprise, all sales are final and we’re unable to offer returns or exchanges for things like genre preference, duplicate titles, or personal taste.

If you receive a title you’ve already read or one that isn’t quite your style, we always encourage gifting it to a fellow book lover or trading with a friend... you never know whose next favorite read it might become!
